SCULPTURE

All the sculpture images are from work I did before 2013.

My basic training as an artist began with sculpture. Learning technique and developing an aesthetic understanding of the requirements of being an artist were embryonic with sculpture. As a way of getting basic lessons about how different creative skills are compared to the rest of living, life as a sculptor was a huge benefit to me. The exposure to form and texture compared to taxation, road rules and telephones, was a revelation to me.

I eventually had to satisfy further curiosities by expanding my experience to take in the world of painting.
